Lutheran Life Villages, the Village at Pine Valley is seeking a Resident Care Coordinator for the beautiful campus on the north side of Fort Wayne. The Resident Care Coordinator will assist with the development, coordination, monitoring, and collaborating of all aspects of resident care in the community. While assisting the ADON and the DON with the administrative functions and providing your team quality oversight, this position functions as a member of nurse management for the community. This would include paying attention to the resident care, charting measures, and customer service skills of the nursing team. MDS experience would be preferred, but not required.

Job Qualifications

A. Education/Training

  1. Registered/licensed nurse graduate from an accredited state approved school of nursing with current license to practice in the State of Indiana.

B. Experience

  1. Preference of a minimum of two years experience in long-term care setting with charge, assistant charge of comparable responsibilities.

C. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Strong, verbal, organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  2. Understanding or the concepts of aging and the needs and concerns of the elderly.
  3. A team orientation.
  4. Basic computer experience.
