As a representative of Lutheran Life Villages, candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals to be served to residents. The ideal Cook candidate will be able to follow recipes and provide sufficient quantities for times of service while being a team player. From the hours of 11:30am-7:30pm Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays, you will have the opportunity to care for our residents by contributing to the overall dining experience. The ideal Cook candidates will be team players and be willing to contribute to the campus as a member of the LLV Family. Cooks will also be required to clean areas and equipment in the kitchen to a standard set forth by state and federal guidelines. Job Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • One year food service experience preferred.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Ability to adhere to all sanitary / food service regulations.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
    • Weekend, holiday and extended shifts required.
