Lutheran Life Villages is seeking QMAs who serve as caregivers with compassion and are driven by the heart. Schedules are available to fit everyone's schedules, including 12 hour shifts on weekends or a pure Monday through Friday 8 hour routine. Our Day shift schedule looks to accommodate a Monday-Friday with the occasional weekend. Getting you out the door and on your way home before school lets out.

Job Qualifications

A. Education/Training:

  1. Satisfactory completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent. Certification for Nurse Aide must be active and in good standing with the Registry and must be maintained in accordance with ISDH requirements.

B. Experience:

  1. One year experience in a long-term care facility or health care setting preferred.

C. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medial procedures.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills.
  4. Understanding of the needs and concerns of the elderly; ability to deal patiently with combative/hostile residents.
  5. Basic computer experience preferred.
